Army of Entreprenuers

Create an Engaged and Empowered Workforce for Exceptional Business Growth.
by Jennifer Prosek 2011

Reviewed by Brian Beirl

What we have been witnessing in the battle ground of Wisconsin and across the Midwest is the result of employees accepting the perceived reality that they are in competition with the management of their own companies or governments. This Us versus Them mentality will never allow the necessary growth and innovation required for any organization to thrive in the 21st century. Jennifer Prosek not only takes a fresh look at business as usual, but gives the reader immediate tools to create a true partnership between employees and management.

Just one of her great ideas -- Commission for Life

Jennifer Prosek is the founder and CEO of CJP, an international public relations firm. As many of us have experienced in our own businesses, she found herself being the sole source of new business in her company. To encourage her employees and staff to become energized in attracting new clients, she literally made them a partner in her business. When an employee refers someone that becomes a customer, they receive 5% of all collected revenue for that customer. Not just once, but all revenues collected for the life of the customer relationship. A Commission for Life.

This one policy has resulted in tremendous growth and a very engaged staff at every level. Do you think that employee follows up with that client and make sure that they experience exemplary service?

If that got your attention, she also has great ideas on:

• Internal educational boot camps that let the employees experience what makes their business work.

• Encouraging employees to recruit other entrepreneurial employee prospects to join their company, realizing that they will contribute to the company’s growth.

• Encourage the employee use of the most cutting edge, communication technology available to keep the company open and vibrant.

• Celebrate success with planned events and never forget to have fun.

There is no doubt that we live in interesting times, I agree with Jennifer Prosek, let’s make our businesses more interesting to our employees. I think that is a Capital idea.
